What is Stress? 

Stress can be defined as a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. These adverse or demanding circumstances can be called stressors. Our bodies reaction to stress is the same whether its from being chased by a wild animal or nervous about an upcoming test. This reaction can be very beneficial in some situations and can also reek havoc on our body in others. How we manage stress is very important. Everyone manages stress differently so its important to explore what strategies works best for you as an individual. Maintaining a healthy emotional life is important to overall health. Some ways to stay emotionally healthy are to manage your stress level by staying on top of school , get eight hours of sleep, ask for help, or see a therapist at a Counseling Center.

Spiritual Wellness is a process of standing beliefs, values, and ethics that help guide your life. Whatever your preference approach, spending time asking and exploring your spiritual life can be an important part to your overall wellbeing.
