Physical wellness is important for everybody. Physical Wellness impacts an individual's physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being. This program is designed to help individuals identify the impact physical wellness has on their own lives, identify challenges associated with trying to lead an active lifestyle, and develop strategies to enable them to have an improved quality of life.

What is Wellness?

Wellness is a state of optimal well-being oriented toward maximizing an individual’s potential. The actual components of wellness are often discussed and even argued. However, this life-long process of enhancing one well-being includes such things as physical, intellectual, emotional, financial, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being.

Each of these dimensions highlight important components of wellness. Throughout this course you will be given time to explore your own level of wellness and develop knowledge that will allow you to create a lifestyle that will enable YOU to maximize your level of wellness everyday!
