YOGA

Yoga is a very effective way of reducing stress. Yoga combines physical activity, body awareness, breathing exercises and meditation techniques. This allows participants to have a holistic experience which will improve their overall personal wellness.

Please follow the video titled: Rejuvenating Yoga Workout by Gymra. It's a beginner level yoga session with meditation at the end. Please follow the exercising and breathing activities to the best of your ability. This will allow for a more fulfilling experience when participating in the mediation session.

Meditation

Mediation is simply a process of getting to know your own mind and how it relates to the your body. There are many different types of meditation and, chances are, there’s one that’s the right fit for your life. The following mediation exercise is just one example that will allow your mind to experience a quiet peacefulness which in turn will relax your physical self.

Please complete the questionnaire. This is not a quiz or test.  This is meant as an exercise which will allow you to reflection of how you as an individual manages stress. If you feel uncomfortable answering any of the questions please say so in your response.
